Nobody chases
anybody for money.
Green fees, the lodge, the team dinner, the cart fees somebody put on their card at 7am. Log it once, split it, and the trip settles in the fewest transfers anyone can owe.

Whoever paid, said so
Every cost carries who covered it, what it was, when, and how it divides. A $486.50 dinner split eight ways is $60.81 each — worked out on the spot rather than on the back of a receipt three days later, when two people have already left.
Split how it was actually shared
Four rooms between eight people isn't the same split as a dinner nobody skipped. Both are one entry.
Categorized as you go
Golf, food and lodging are told apart, so next year's budget starts from what last year actually cost.
One number each, at the end
Eight people who each covered something owe each other a tangle of small amounts. The app collapses that into the fewest transfers that clear it — one figure per person, in a direction, so the settlement is a payment rather than a negotiation in the parking lot.
Side games included
Skins and closest-to-the-pin winnings post to the same ledger as the green fees. The trip settles once, not twice.
Paid and pending, tracked
Mark a transfer as sent and it moves from pending to confirmed, so everyone can see what is still outstanding.
The last hour of a trip, back
Every golf trip ends the same way: somebody with a notes app, somebody insisting they already paid for the Thursday round, and a Venmo request that arrives four days later with no explanation attached to it. None of that is what anyone drove five hours for.
Money questions
How does the settlement work?
Everything anyone paid, and everything anyone won, is netted into the smallest set of transfers that clears the trip. Instead of eight people paying each other small amounts in every direction, each person gets one figure and one direction.
Can an expense be split unevenly?
Yes. A cost is split across the people it actually applied to, so four rooms shared between eight players and a dinner nobody skipped are both a single entry rather than a special case.
Do side-game winnings count toward the settlement?
Yes. Skins, closest to the pin and match payouts post to the same ledger as green fees and lodging, so the golf and the costs settle together in one number rather than two.
Does the app move money?
No. It works out who owes what and tracks whether a transfer has been made; you send it however your group already does. Marking a payment confirmed is what moves it out of pending.
Can we settle before everyone has finished playing?
You can look at the running position any time, but it keeps changing while rounds are live — side games pay out once every group in a round has finished. The settlement is worth taking at the end, which is where the fewest-transfers figure is final.
What if somebody logs an expense wrong?
Change it. The split, the running totals and the settlement all recalculate from the corrected entry.
