The group chat is the point

Photos, GIFs and live match alerts land in the Clubhouse as they happen — and when somebody takes an 8 on a par 4, the app has something to say about it too.

Trash talk

That’s four out of the same bunker. The sand is 2 up with 5 to play.

Frequently asked questions

What is Duffers Anonymous?

A free iOS app for golf trips. It handles the itinerary, live scoring and side games, splitting expenses, and a group chat — everything a group needs from booking the trip to settling up afterwards.

Is it free?

Yes. Free on iPhone, no subscription and no per-trip charge.

Do all my friends need the app?

Anyone scoring or chatting needs it, but one person can keep score for a whole foursome — which is how most groups actually do it. Joining a trip takes a six-character code, not an account hunt.

What scoring formats does it support?

Stroke play, best ball, match play, scramble and skins, plus closest to the pin and team points races across multiple foursomes. Handicaps apply automatically, so net and gross both stay right.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet, but it's coming. The scoring engine is already built against shared cross-platform test vectors, so when Android lands both apps agree to the stroke.

Does it work without a signal?

Yes. Scores entered out of coverage save on the phone and sync when a signal returns, which matters on the back nine of most courses worth playing.

Get the trip on the books

Free on iPhone. Bring the whole group — one code and they're in.
